Needle roller bearing removal method and precautions

First, push method

The needle roller bearing is pressed by the press, and the work is stable and reliable, and the machine and the needle bearing are shielded from the machine room.

Special attention: the pressure point should be on the center of the shaft, and should not be biased.

Second, the tapping method

The tapping force is generally added to the inner ring of the needle bearing. The tapping force of the shielding room should not be added to the rolling elements and cage of the needle bearing. When the needle bearing is at the end of the shaft, the copper is smaller than the inner diameter of the needle bearing. A rod or other soft metal material is placed against the shaft end, and the lower part of the needle bearing is padded, and can be removed by tapping with a hammer. This method is simple and easy, but it is easy to damage the needle bearing.

Special attention: the application of this method should pay attention to the position of the spacer should be appropriate, the focus should be correct.

Third, the pull out method

With a special puller, the needle roller bearing will be pulled out slowly as long as the handle is rotated. When removing the outer ring of the needle bearing, the angle of the two legs of the puller should be opened outwards; when removing the inner ring of the needle bearing, the two legs of the puller should be inward and stuck on the end face of the inner ring of the needle bearing.

Special attention: The pull hook of the puller should be hooked on the inner ring of the bearing, and should not be hooked on the outer ring to avoid excessive looseness or damage of the bearing; the angle of the two legs of the puller should be less than 90°.

Fourth, hot demolition

Used to remove the tightly fitted needle bearing. First, the oil heated to about 100 °C is poured into the needle bearing to be removed. After the needle bearing ring is thermally expanded, it can be pulled out with a puller.

Special attention: Before heating, the shaft should be wrapped with asbestos rope or thin iron plate to prevent the shaft from being inflated by heat, otherwise it will be difficult to disassemble. When removing the needle bearing from the needle bearing housing hole, only the needle can be heated. Bearing housing bore, can not heat needle bearings.
